Help crashes

Question

When I click the Help button in a dialog box, my help system (Winhlp32.exe) crashes. What can I do to solve this problem?

Answer

Explanation

The IGSS help system uses different window types to display different kinds of information. One of the window types is the so-called WinHelp secondary window. The IGSS help system uses the WinHelp 2000 format which depends on a .dll file called Roboex32.dll. This .dll is installed with the IGSS system, but the version distributed up to Help Update 3 did not support secondary windows. This caused WinHelp to crash.

Solution

If you've already downloaded Help Update 3, the problem is solved. If not, click the link below to download it.
