Some SCADA configurations may have very large diagrams that take up more space than what may be displayed on one monitor screen. The IGSS pan feature allows you to navigate these large diagrams from a single monitor screen. This is done by providing you with a pan control window, which is a miniature of the whole process diagram. By selecting a certain area in the pan control window, you are immediately taken to that part of the diagram.
The pan control window may be placed in any corner of the diagram. In the illustration below, it is located in the top left corner:
