Limit Exceeded Bit
A bit can now be sent to the PLC if the high or low alarm limit is exceeded for an analog object. (See illustration below.)
Exchange Alarm Inhibit Information with PLC System
If the operator inhibits an alarm, a bit can be sent to the PLC. Vice versa, a bit can be sent from the PLC to inhibit an alarm.
