IGSS V5 extends the great idea of object linking into also covering Group objects. To save configuration time, and to reduce the possibilities of making errors, IGSS V5 will link Group objects together. If the user copies Group 1 and pastes it as Group 2, the two Groups will be linked together. If the user changes an attribute in Group 1, IGSS will automatically make the same change in Group 2. Of course, you can have any number of Group objects linked together.
This feature makes the highly popular Group object functionality even more effective. Imagine a scenario where a Group object has been pasted numerous times in a configuration and the user suddenly detects an error. The solution is straightforward - the user corrects one of the Group objects and the remaining Group objects are corrected accordingly.
