Suspend an interface

In some special situations, you may want to suspend an interface of a driver. For example, if you have a dial-up connection and the modem is not currently working or being serviced. You can suspend the interface as follows:

  1. Right-click the relevant driver.
  2. Select Suspend interface.

Result: The interface is now suspended and will not collect data from its associated PLCs until you select this menu item again. The interface will be clearly marked with a red cross to indicate the suspended mode.
