Suspend a node

In some situations, you may want to suspend a node. For example, if the process components that are connected to a certain PLC are being serviced and thus provide erroneous values to IGSS. You can suspend the node as follows:

  1. Right-click the node you want to suspend.
  2. Select Suspend node.

The node is now suspended and will not collect data from its associated process components until you select this menu item again.

If you suspend a manager node, all its associated subnodes will also be suspended because IGSS only communicates with the manager node.
