All plant components displayed in process diagrams may be individually protected. The system designer may decide for each individual object whether or not a particular operator with a particular user name and password has the right to give a command or change a value for a particular plant component.
When you log into the Supervise program for online operator access and process control, you are automatically given the access rights defined by the system designer for your user name and password. Provided you have the authority, you may change your password in the File ® Change password… menu.
