View LOG data in Object Historian

Choose the objects for inspection as follows:

Lasso the objects on the process diagram, then select Edit ® Object Historian.
Select Edit ® Object Historian and click Browse to find the relevant objects. To add multiple objects simultaneously, select them in the Object Browser and drag them onto the Object Historian dialogue.

Result: The selected objects appear in the list with the text "Will be checked for events".

Under Time interval, define the relevant start and end time. IGSS goes back one hour by default.
Under Event types, select the Log check box.
Click Query data to view the data in the list.

Tip: For details on the individual columns in the list, click the $images\ICO_HELP.gif$ button, then click inside the list.

Note

If you don't get any data in the list, you may not have the necessary .log files in the report folder. The lifetime of the data files can be limited by the settings on the Files tab in the System Configuration program.
