Introduction
In circumstances where the number of IGSS operator licenses are limited, it would be useful to automatically disconnect an operator station that has not been actively controlling the plant. When the operator station has been disconnected, then an operator license is released and can be used on a different operator station.
An example of use would be in a situation where a plant has onsite monitoring during the normal workday with 2 operator licenses in use. At knock-off time, the two operator licenses onsite are no longer manned stations but the plant still has to be monitored, let's say 24-hours a day. These 2 licenses are then "transferred" to 2 offsite operators, who monitor remotely. The transfer is accomplished by disconnecting the onsite licenses/operator stations from the IGSS server so as to allow them to be re-activated offsite.
