To connect an analog object to another analog object

This combination allows you to combine values from two analog objects in a needle display. The two analog values will then determine the length of the needle and the direction of the needle, respectively.

Define the analog object that you want to determine the length of the needle. You can use any descriptor you like.
Select Objects ® Circular Display and type the name of the object you want to determine the direction of the needle.
Click the Data Management Definitions tab.
In the Connect To drop-down list, select the name of the first analog object.
Click the Attributes of Pie tab.
In the Show group, select Needle and specify the other properties, as required.
Click OK.

Any change in the values of the two analog objects will now change the length or direction of the needle, respectively.
