This combination allows you to let a table object inherit the alarm
limits of an analog object.
Define
the analog object whose alarm limits you want the table object to inherit.
Define
the table object that you want to use the alarm limits of the analog object.
On
the Table tab, you can define
up to ten process components that will share the same alarm limits. They
must share the same upper and lower limit.
Click
the Data Management Definitions tab
in the table object properties dialog box.
In
the Connect To drop-down list,
select the name of the analog object.
If
any of the values in the table object exceeds the alarm limits defined
for the analog object, an alarm occurs.
Click
OK to save the object.
Tips
By
using this combination, you can limit the number of objects used in the
configuration. You can have up to ten analog measurements combined in
a table object.
