Use

You can use an edit box to

show the actual value or one of the alarm limits of an analog object
show the text string defined for a string object.

This example shows an edit box that shows the current value of an analog object.

Edit box properties

To view and change the edit box properties, right-click it and select Properties in the pop-up menu, then click the Attributes of Edit tab.
