To disconnect a standard descriptor to an IGSS object

1. Right-click the standard descriptorA descriptor is the graphical display of an object. IGSS includes many types of descriptors including: - Built-in standard symbols - Animated symbols (Symbol Factory library) - Graphics and animation - Drawing symbols - Windows controls - ActiveX controls An IGSS object can be represented with different descriptors on different diagrams. and select Disconnect in the pop-up menu. A confirmation message appears.
2. Click Yes to disconnect.

Tip

If you later want to connect the standard descriptor to another IGSS object, simply right-click the descriptor and select Connect in the pop-up menu.
