To create an independent text box

If necessary, select View ® Drawing Toolbar.
Click $images\ico_drw_text.gif$ in the Drawing toolbar and move the cursor to the position where you want to place the text box.
Click once. A dialog box appears.
Type the text you want to appear and press enter.
Change the text box properties, as required.

Tips

Use text boxes to show texts that describe the process diagrams, but are not associated with any specific object. You can, for example, use them as headlines for groups of related objects.
