Use

Text boxes can be used in two ways.

as independent (static) text boxes on a diagram
as text boxes that are connected to IGSS objects

Text boxes can be connected to all IGSS types.

Example

This example shows how you can connect a text box to an analog object. You can then make the text box background flash, if the object is in alarm. You can even specify a text that will occur, if the current value exceeds an alarm limit.

Text box properties

To view and change the text box properties, right-click the text box and select Properties in the popup menu, then click the Attributes of Text tab.
