Before you go through this procedure, you must open the Demo configuration and create a new area called NewInThisVersion.

  1. Create a diagram called PlantsOverview and do the following:
  1. Go to the Plants area.
  2. Select the three buttons referring to the diagrams: Beverage, Dairy and Power and press CTRL + C to copy.
  3. Go back to the PlantsOverview diagram and press CTRL + V to paste the three buttons.
  4. Do the following:
  1. Right-click the diagram and select Properties.

  2. Go to the Dairy diagram, select all objects and press CTRL + C to copy.
  3. Go to the NewInVersion5 area and open the newly created PlantsOverview diagram. Double-click the Dairy button.
  4. In the Edit menu, choose Paste Special and do the following:
  1. Resize the diagram to fit the lower portion of the screen. Hold down the CTRL button while resizing to preserve the proportions of the contents of the diagram.
  2. Select View ® Drawing toolbar. Click the alarm list descriptor icon - images\ico_drw_almlist.gif – and point to a position just below the diagram buttons.
  3. Resize the alarm list to fit within the overview diagram.
