Use

Polylines can be used in two ways.

as independent (static) polylines on a diagram
as polylines that are connected to IGSS objects

Polylines can be connected to all IGSS types.

Example

This example shows a typical use of polylines. When you draw the diagram background within IGSS Definition, you will often need to connect the different static components of the process, for example, the pipes that connect the tanks in the process. Polylines are ideal for that, because you can move it as one object and manipulate the legs of the line individually. You may, of course, also connect a polyline to an IGSS object.

Polyline properties

To view and change the polyline properties, right-click the polyline and select Properties in the popup menu, then click the Attributes of Polyline tab.
