OLE objects

Use

You can use OLE objects to provide easy access to objects from external programs that are frequently used by the operators.

What you want to make available depend entirely on your workplace procedures. Typical examples could be:

MS Word documents access to documents describing internal procedures.
MS Excel worksheets access to spreadsheets that hold key information that operators need to update.

By using OLE objects, you can provide this access directly from a diagram in IGSS.

You cannot link the appearance of an OLE object to the current value or state of an IGSS object.
