Grid control

Definition

A grid control is a descriptorA descriptor is the graphical display of an object. IGSS includes many types of descriptors including: - Built-in standard symbols - Animated symbols (Symbol Factory library) - Graphics and animation - Drawing symbols - Windows controls - ActiveX controls An IGSS object can be represented with different descriptors on different diagrams. which allows you to show normal text or IGSS object values/commands in a table layout.

Use

The grid control is designed to be used whenever you want to collect object values in an easy-to-read table format. Showing f.ex. key values from a subprocess on an overview diagram thus becomes a very easy process.
