Use

You can use graphics files in two ways:

as independent (static) objects on a diagram.
This is a new feature in IGSS allowing you to create the diagram background from scratch by placing independent graphics files and connecting them using the new drawing tools.
as connected objects where the appearance of the graphics file is directly linked to the current value or state of the connected IGSS object.

Example

This example shows a few graphics files linked to diagrams. The graphics are small representations of the same graphics that are used as the background for the referenced diagrams.

Graphics file properties

To view and change the graphics file properties, right-click it and select Properties in the popup menu, then click the Attributes of <graphics file type> tab, for example, Attributes of WMF.
