in the Objects menu. Click
here for an overview of the possibilities.
This is a general
procedure for all object types. Step-by-step procedures for the individual
object types are also available in the "How To" section of the
help file.
Do one of
the following:
On the
Objects menu, select the relevant
item.
Right-click
at the position where you want the object, select New
and choose the relevant item in the submenu. The latter is identical to
the main Objects menu.
The Object Browser dialog box appears.
Click the
+ sign beside the area
in which you want to create the object.
Optionally,
click the + sign beside the relevant
object type and choose the relevant template.
Four object

It is recommended to use templates to obtain consistency between objects.
The selections
you've made in the tree view are visible in the Create
new object area at the bottom of the dialog box.
In the Name field, type the name of the object.
Do not use spaces in the name. If you do, a ?
will replace the space.
In the Description field, type a descriptive
text.
Select the
check boxes for the items you want to show along with the object
descriptor.
The object
properties dialog box appears allowing you to change its properties. If
you based the object on a template, you only need to enter the specific
PLC addresses for the individual atoms.
When all
properties are set, click OK.
