Multi-monitor support in brief

IGSS supports the setup of multiple screens with the following key features:

Up to 9 screens can be set up
The entire multi-screen setup is done in the Definition program
You can set up for operator stations running another resolution than the system designer's machine
Using a grid you can position the diagrams on the individual screens
You can define scroll bar behavior for single and multi-screen operator stations. Typically, you would have a mix of the two in a multi-user environment
Automatic scaling of diagrams to a primary screen
Panning option for wide diagrams

Multiple screens in operation

Once the multi-screen setup is done and the configuration has been installed, the operator station will show the following:

If it has multiple screens connected, the diagram and graph windows will be distributed on the different screens as set up in the Definition program.
If it has a single screen connected, the operator will either use the scroll bars to view the hidden diagrams or the multi-screen setup will be scaled or cut to fit the screen.
