In a multi-user environment, you will typically have a mix of single
screen and multi-screen OP stations.
You determine the scroll bar behaviour using these settings:
Under Single screen, select one of the following
options:
Yes The horizontal and vertical
scroll bars will be visible allowing the operator to navigate to the "hidden"
screens.
No, but scale work space All the
screens defined will be fit into the single screen and scroll bars will
not be available.
No, but cut work space As much
as possible from the screens defined will be fit into the single screen
and the remaining screens will be cut away. No scroll bars are available.
No, but move work space All diagrams from other screens will be placed on the primary screen.
Under Multi screen, select one of the two
options:
Yes To make horizontal and vertical
scroll bars available to the operator. This could be relevant if you also
have a mixture of multi-screen OP stations. If the configuration is defined
for four screens and an OP station only has two screens, the operator
will need the scroll bars.
Show screen boundaries
When you start positioning and resizing the diagrams and graphs within
the different screens, you need to view the screen boundaries. This is
done as follows:
Under Show grid, enable the check boxes as
follows:
In Definition To show the screen
boundaries in the Definition
program. It is recommended to enable this setting.
In Supervise To show the screen
boundaries in the Supervise
program. Use this setting for test purposes only to check
that all screens are properly positioned. At commissioning time, this
setting should be disabled so as not to confuse the operator.
