Graph window

Use

The graph window is used by the operator during supervision to evaluate the state of one or more process components over time and to detect adverse trends at an early stage. IGSS is capable of combining current trends and historical data in the same graphs. The operator can thus see at a glance what happened in the process just before and immediately after an intervention.

Description

A graph can be predefined by the system designer or created on-the-fly by the operator during supervision. A predefined graph belongs to an area and can be accessed from the Graph menu when the parent area is active. To show the name of the graph in the Graph menu, simply check the Name to Menu option when you define the graph.

The properties of a new graph are defined in the New Graph Properties and Define Graph Parameters dialog boxes. Click here for details.
