In the Objects menu, select the appropriate
item in the lower part of the menu, for example, Analog
Objects. The Object Browser
dialog box appears listing the existing analog objects in the configuration.
You can also
right-click at the desired position, select New in the pop-up menu, then
the appropriate item in the submenu which is identical to the Objects
menu.
If you want
to base the object on a template, click on the + sign beside the relevant
area, then the + sign beside the Analogue
branch. Finally, click on the template name.
In the Create new object area, fill in a new
unique object name and, optionally, a description.
Check the
Name, Description
and Value boxes to show this information
along with the object symbol.
Click Create. The analog object properties
dialog box appears.
On the Analog tab, specify the measuring range,
alarm limits, set
point, etc.
The symbol
and the object
caption appears. If you used the right-click menu, the symbol appears
at the position where you clicked, otherwise the symbol appears in the
upper left corner of the diagram.
