Definition
An OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) Embedded Diagram contains an object from an OLE-compliant program which is embedded in or linked to the diagram window. IGSS Definition becomes the OLE container program and the target program becomes the OLE server.
Use
By using OLE-embedded diagrams, you can embed or link any kind of OLE object registered on your PC. The only limit to its use is your own imagination.

Create New or Create from File
When you create an OLE-embedded diagram, you can either create a new OLE object or embed or link to an existing file.
Diagram menu
As is the case for normal diagrams, you can add the name of an OLE-embedded diagram to the Diagram menu simply by checking the Name to Menu option when you define the diagram.
OLE-embedded diagram properties
When you create an OLE-embedded diagram, you specify a number of properties in the OLE Object Properties dialog box. The properties can be changed at any time. The most important ones are:

specify which diagram window elements you want the operator to see, for example, title bar, minimize and maximize buttons, etc. |

show the diagram name in the Diagram menu to facilitate easy access for the operator. |
