Open the
area in which you want to create the diagram.
Select Diagram ® Create
OLE Diagram.
Type a unique
and descriptive name in the Name field
and an optional description in the Description
field.
In the Caption group, choose what you want
to show in the title bar of the diagram window.
Title
Bar must be enabled to use this option.
Click Browse. The Insert
Object dialog box appears.
Do one of
the following:
To
create a new OLE object, select Create
New and the desired Object Type.
To
use an existing OLE object, select Create
from File, type in the file name or use the Browse
button to find it. Check the Link
box, if you want to update the diagram automatically, when the file is
changed.
The selected
object type is automatically inserted in the OLE
Object Name field.
Check the
boxes for the window elements (title bar, status bar, etc.) you want to
include on the diagram window.
Check the
Name to Menu box to include the
name in the Diagram menu.
Click OK to save the diagram.
Note
The menus and functions available will reflect the
functionality of the OLE
server program, but you can always switch to another area or diagram
by selecting one in the Area or Diagram menu.
Tip
Consider carefully which diagrams to include in
the Diagram
menu, as you can include max. 19 diagrams per area. Of course, you are
not limited to defining 19 diagrams, the remaining ones will merely have
to be accessed via click-sensitive fields or buttons. All diagrams can
freely scaled and re-positioned.
