The Color Palette

Allows you to change the color of the selected element(s) on the process diagram. The color palette allows you to choose between 28 of the colors set up in the Windows Control Panel. Double-click a color in the palette to choose other colors.

To change the color of an object symbol, a text or a standard descriptorA descriptor is the graphical display of an object. IGSS includes many types of descriptors including: - Built-in standard symbols - Animated symbols (Symbol Factory library) - Graphics and animation - Drawing symbols - Windows controls - ActiveX controls An IGSS object can be represented with different descriptors on different diagrams., select it and click the appropriate color.

Tip

• To change the color of multiple objects, click the left mouse button and draw an area around the objects you want to change, then release the button. The selected objects are marked with dotted rectangles. Then click the appropriate color in the Color Palette.
• If you are using a background color on your diagram, you can change it by checking the Set Background Color option in the Diagram menu and then selecting the appropriate new background color.
• To change the background color of, for example, a polygon you can select the object and then right-click the color you want in the Color Palette.
