What is IGSS Definition?
Intended use
IGSS Definition is the main program used by the system designer. The
program is designed to help the system designer perform the following
tasks:
- build a model of the monitored process by using
process diagrams
- connect IGSS to the physical process components
by specifying their unique PLC
addresses
- specify relations between different types of process
components, for example, by connecting an analog
and a digital
object
- specify alarms for the individual process components
- specify data collection and management properties
for the individual process components
- prepare the process diagrams for the operator
by configuring menus, toolbars and function keys for easy access to frequently
used commands and functions
