What is IGSS Definition?

Intended use

IGSS Definition is the main program used by the system designer. The program is designed to help the system designer perform the following tasks:

build a model of the monitored process by using process diagrams
connect IGSS to the physical process components by specifying their unique PLC addresses
specify relations between different types of process components, for example, by connecting an analog and a digital object
specify alarms for the individual process components
specify data collection and management properties for the individual process components
prepare the process diagrams for the operator by configuring menus, toolbars and function keys for easy access to frequently used commands and functions
