In
the Objects menu, select Tables in the lower part of the menu.
The Object Browser dialog box appears.
You
can also right-click at the desired position, select New
in the pop-up menu, then the appropriate item in the submenu which is identical
to the Objects menu.
If
you want to base the object on a template, select its name in the Templates drop-down list.
Type
a unique name and an optional description.
Check
the Name and Value
boxes to show this information along with the object symbol.
Click
OK. The table object properties
dialog box appears.
On
the Table tab, type the names
and values of the analog objects you want to present together, choose
the appropriate table type, etc.
Click
the Edit Mapping tab to define
the PLC addressing and alarm texts.
Although
a table object can handle up to ten analog objects, you need only give
one PLC address. The system assumes that the values have consecutive addresses.
The
symbol and the object
caption appear. If you used the right-click menu, the symbol appears
at the position where you clicked, otherwise the symbol appears in the
upper left corner of the diagram.
