Overview: Standard display types
IGSS features five standard display types which offer alternative ways
of displaying different object types.
The five types are:
- Rectangular field A rectangular field
is a rectangular area which is click-sensitive. The field may be used
to refer to an object in exactly the same manner as a symbol. However,
a frequent use of a rectangular field is to make a reference from one
diagram to another to obtain a zooming effect.
- Command field A command field is an
area in which buttons to control a digital object may be positioned.
- Bar display A bar display is an area
in which a dynamic column which reflect the process value of an analog
object or columns representing the individual values of the table object
may be positioned.
- Circular display A circular display
is an area in which an instrument (shaped like a circle, half-circle or
part-circle) which reflect the process value of an analog object may be
positioned.
- Moving symbol A moving symbol is an
area within which a symbol may move. The movements of the symbol may be
controlled from the PLC system.
