To format the object caption

To define the contents of the object caption

1. Double-click the object symbol or caption to show the object properties dialog box.
2. Click the Display tab.
3. In the Show group, select the items you want to show.
4. Click OK.

To define the text formatting of the object caption

1. Select the object(s) you want to format.
2. If required, select View ® Font Toolbar.
3. In the Font toolbar, select the appropriate font, type size and style.

Tips

• If you want the background to appear behind the text, make sure that Transparent Text is enabled in the Format menu.
• You can also define the text formatting by clicking Change Font on the Display tab.

To align the name and value

1. Double-click the object symbol or descriptorA descriptor is the graphical display of an object.
