If you want to make sure that operators cannot manipulate an object,
you can disable their access completely.
Double-click
the symbol or descriptorA descriptor is the graphical display of an object. IGSS includes many types of descriptors including:
- Built-in standard symbols
- Animated symbols (Symbol Factory library)
- Graphics and animation
- Drawing symbols
- Windows controls
- ActiveX controls
An IGSS object can be represented with different descriptors on different diagrams. of the object to which you want to prevent operator
access.
Click the
Display tab.
In the Symbol group, clear the Selectable
check box.
Click OK.
The operator
will not be able to access this object during supervision.
