Overview: Define object appearance

An IGSS object can be represented in multiple ways on process diagrams.

Typically, an object is represented by a symbol from the symbol file, a standard display type (bar display, rectangular field, etc.) or a standard descriptor (drawing object, Windows control, etc.). Along with the symbol or descriptor, two text boxes are usually shown. One holds the name and/or description of the object, the other holds the state or value of the object.
