Scenario 2: Workgroup approach

Before you go through the scenario, we recommend that you read the scenario description.

We also assume that you know the techniques involved in creating a new configuration, creating new diagrams and including objects and descriptors in a Group. If you go through Scenario 1, you will learn some of these techniques.

• If the workgroup will be sharing templates in the three sub-configurations, we recommend that the templates are created in the master configuration and then exported into Configuration Group Files (.cgf). These files can then be imported into the sub-configurations.

Scenario 2 is broken into four main phases as follows:

STEP 1: System designer A creates IGSS configuration A

STEP 2: System designer B creates IGSS configuration B

STEP 3: System designer C creates IGSS configuration C

STEP 4: All system designers build the master configuration
