Create a Group

Before you perform this procedure, we recommend that you read the Before you create a Group topic.

Select Edit ® Group Manager.

• The Group Manager dialog is a non-modal dialog. This allows you to preserve the dialog box open, while you select objects to be included in a Group on the process diagram. Select the On top check box in the lower left corner of the dialog box to make the dialog box stay on top.

Click the New Group button.

In the Group name field, enter a descriptive name for the Group and click OK. The name cannot include spaces. If you enter a space, IGSS automatically inserts a “?”.

The new Group name appears in the left-side tree view on the Members tab and in the drop-down list above. The drop-down list will show you all the Groups defined in the configuration.
