Status bars

There are three status bars in IGSS:

The main status bar which is always available and
The diagram status bar which can be shown as part of a diagram window.
The graph status bar which can be shown as part of a graph window.

The main status bar is the horizontal area at the bottom of the IGSS window showing the current status or giving other information, such as the meaning of a particular command. The main status bar contains the following elements:

This element …	shows …	example
Status bar text	user instructions what a selected menu item or toolbar button does	For Help, press F1. Save the current configuration (File ® Save).
Mouse position co-ordinates	the current position of the mouse cursor (horizontal, vertical)	263, 597
Rectangle size	the size of an existing rectangle or the size of an area drawn with the mouse (width 5 height).	20 5 20
