Introduction

A digital object can be represented in multiple ways on a process diagram. Your choice will depend upon the nature of the object. Use the examples below for inspiration when deciding on which display type to choose.

Standard symbols

Here are some examples of the most commonly used symbols for digital objects. As a new feature in IGSS, you can now rotate the symbols of the symbol file to fit your needs.

Command fields

A popular way of presenting digital objects is to use command fields which allow the operator to see the current state at a glance and send commands by simply clicking the corresponding command button.
