Definition and use
The Library toolbar is a floating palette on which you can place your favourite graphics and multimedia files and IGSS objects. These objects can then be freely dragged onto any process diagram you like.
Assume that you have drawn a tank that you want to use on multiple diagrams. The first time you place it, you resize it to the appropriate proportions and then drag it onto the Library toolbar. Whenever you need to insert the tank, you simply drag it from the toolbar and drop it onto the process diagram.
How it works
The first thing to do before you can use the Library toolbar is to select View ® Library Toolbar.
When you want to place an object on the toolbar, you can:
Once the object is on toolbar, you can use it again and again by simply dragging it to the desired position on the process diagram.
Graphics and multimedia files
Note that you can add graphics files and multimedia files in two ways. By resizing the graphic before you drag it to the toolbar, you avoid the repetitive task of resizing it when you use it again.
IGSS objects
You can drag any IGSS object represented by a symbol from the symbol file to the Library toolbar. When you drag the object from the toolbar onto the process diagram, a copy of the original object is pasted which you must then rename.
The pop-up menu
Using the right-click menu of the Library toolbar allows you to assign names to the objects, delete one or all objects from the toolbar, add new objects (graphics files and multimedia files only) and change the size of the toolbar thumbnails.
