Customizing IGSS Supervise

Customize Supervise dialog box

The IGSS Supervise menus and the custom Supervise toolbar are configured from the Customize Supervise dialog box in the Tools menu. In this dialog box you can customize IGSS Supervise to fit the special needs of your operators. You may, for example, include toolbar buttons that launch other IGSS programs that the operator will be using.

Customize menus

On the Menus tab of the Customize Supervise dialog box, you can:

Add and remove menu items
Move menu items from one menu to another
Change the sequence of menu items
Rename menu items
Add, rename and delete menus

Customize the Supervise toolbar

On the Toolbar tab of the Customize Supervise dialog box, you can:

Create toolbar buttons that activate IGSS commands
Create toolbar buttons that launch external programs

Each time you save your configuration, a file which contains your toolbar customisation is saved in the configuration root folder. The names are:

Deftool.tbc Definition Toolbar
Runtool.tbc Supervise Toolbar

These files can be reused for other configurations by using the Copy from other configurations button.

Notice the combo box that automatically appears when you create the toolbar. This box is a shortcut to all objects in the configuration. You simply type the name of the object and press enter. IGSS will then show the object properties dialog box for the object and open the diagram on which it is located, if it has a graphical representation. The names you enter will be available in the drop-down list.
