To edit alarm texts

  1. Double-click the symbol of the IGSS object whose alarm text you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit Mapping tab.
  3. In the Alarm Details group, select the alarm text you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit. The Edit Alarm Description dialog box appears.
  5. Edit the alarm text properties, as required.

  1. Click OK to return to the Edit Mapping tab.

 

Tip

You can also edit alarm texts by selecting Edit ® Alarm Details. A list of all alarm texts in the configuration appears. Select the one you want to edit and then click Edit. This opens the Edit Alarm Description dialog box. This is very useful if you want to edit several alarm texts.
