To delete alarm texts

  1. Double-click the symbol of the IGSS object whose alarm text you want to delete.
  2. Click the Edit Mapping tab.
  3. In the Alarm Details group, select the alarm text you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete. A confirmation message appears.
  5. Click Yes to delete the alarm text.

 

Note

Before you delete an alarm text, verify that it is no longer to be used for any other IGSS objects. By deleting the alarm text, you also break the link to any other IGSS objects that use this alarm text.

 

Tip

You can also delete alarm texts by selecting Edit ® Alarm Details. A list of all alarm texts in the configuration appears. Select the one you want to delete and then click Delete.
