To set the initial display for an area

Open the area for which you want to define the initial display by:

Selecting its name in the Area menu or
Selecting Edit ® Open By Name and finding the area.

Arrange the windows according to what you want the operator to see when he enters this area.

The initial display is typically a diagram, but you may want to include a graph window or customise the display otherwise.

Select Format ® Set Initial Display.

The current display will now be the one shown when you change to this area.

Tip

Define an initial display for each area in the configuration. If an area does not have an initial display, the screen will be empty when entering the area.
