To delete an area

1. Open the area you want to delete by:

• Selecting its name in the Area menu or
• Selecting Edit ® Open By Name and finding the area.
2. Select Area ® Delete. A confirmation message appears informing you that all objects in the active area will be deleted.
3. Click Yes. The Delete Objects dialog box appears.
4. If you want to remove some or all of the objects in this area altogether, check the box beside the object name. Do not check the boxes for objects where you only want to delete the reference in this area.
5. Click OK.

• The area and the specified objects are now removed.

Note

The area is not permanently removed, until you save the configuration (File ® Save).
