Introduction
An analog object can be represented in multiple ways on a process diagram. Your choice will depend upon the nature of the object. Bar displays and circular displays are particularly popular for analog objects, as they provide a very visual and intuitive display form.
Use the examples below for inspiration when deciding on which display type to choose.
Examples
The following illustrations show examples of different ways to show analog objects. The symbols are taken from the default symbol file. Note that you can freely add your own symbols to a symbol file. All display types can be selected from the Objects menu.
