Example: Create a symbol table

In this example, we will create a new symbol table called Flow meters. The symbols in the table can only be used for analog objects.

1. In the Edit menu, choose Symbols.
2. In the Tables menu of the Symbol Editor program, choose New Symbol Table.
3. Select the first symbol in the browse pane.
4. In the Symbol menu, select Properties.
5. Click the Table Properties tab and do the following:

• In the Table name field, type Flow meters.
• Under Type, click the Deselect All button and then enable the object type, Analog.
• Click OK.

• The new symbol table appears in the List of symbol tables palette – ready for use.
