The process values shown in the Alarm
List and Event List are
not continuously refreshed. They are updated whenever the WorstValue of the object value has
changed, or at specific intervals set by the development engineer during
system design. IGSS therefore
provides an Update facility so
that you can call up fresh process values whenever needed.
Procedure
In
the Tree View, select the list
you wish to update.
Move
into the selected list in the right-hand section of the screen.
In
the Menu Bar, click Actions ®
Update.
The
entire list is updated.
For the options
of the Actions menu to become
available, you must have moved the cursor out of the Tree
View into the alarm list or alarm log !
Shortcut
You
are inside the list.
Simply
click the right
mouse button.
This opens the
Actions function box so that you
can now conveniently activate the Update
function.
