Open the alarm list or the alarm log

There are THREE ways to open the ALARM LIST:

Using the process screen.

  1. In a process screen, a faulty object might have started flashing or has changed its color to draw your attention to the alarm situation.
  2. Place the cursor on the object.
  3. Press the right mouse button.
  4. The list of active alarms is opened; you can now find out more about the alarm situation.

Using the alarm icon

  1. Click the alarm icon.
  2. This directly opens the alarm list.

Using the Menu Bar of IGSS Alarm

  1. You are in IGSS Alarm.
  2. In the Menu Bar, click View ® Tree View.
  3. The left section of the screen will show you the tree Active Alarms and Alarm Log together with the currently set filter criteria.
  4. You can now toggle between Active Alarms and Alarm Log by simply clicking the relevant option. The title bar indicates which list is just being displayed.
