The Alarm icon

Special icon permanently displayed during process supervision for quick operator access to the Alarm program and the alarm list. Double click on the alarm icon in order to open the alarm list on the screen.

The meaning of the counter in the alarm icon is defined during system design. It may indicate:

the number of unacknowledged alarms (default setting)

the number of process objects that are in the state of alarm.

The alarm icon automatically adopts the color of the pending alarm with the highest priority so that you are always informed about the severity of the alarms still awaiting acknowledgement and correction.

The alarm icon is permanently displayed, either in the taskbar in the bottom line of the screen, provided that the taskbar is enabled for your application, or in a predefined spot on the screen, irrespective of which process diagram is currently being displayed.
